Jessie can't believe he thought she was dead when he should have known, would have known, if his mother hadn't lied to him - about Jessie and his daughter. She cost him years of happiness with Jessie and a chance to meet his daughter. Now, he'll do anything to convince Jessie he still loves her and they have a second chance at first love.
