My Review:
★★★★☆

This is a touching tale by Jennifer Faye. I had never read her books before and now I want them all.

Kate needs to raise money for her sick daughter. Lucas finds her staying at his mansion and there is immediate tension. They are drawn together as they work together to raise the money. There are misunderstandings and trust issues that they must overcome.

This is a basic Harlequin story. It follows the same formula as all of their romances. What I really enjoyed was how the author really draws you in and makes you care for the characters. The story flows effortlessly. You don't realise how well until you sit the book down and realize how much time has passed. I read it in one sitting, devouring it in around two hours.The characters are well written and believable.  You can easily imagine yourself in their places and think about what you would do in the same situation.

I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a heartwarming romance. You won't be disappointed.
